Bit by the travel bug in high school and officially diagnosed with travel fever  after college, I try to travel as much as possible. So far my adventures have included:

  • Trying (and failing) to recover from jet lag on a tour of the Prado Museum in Madrid, Spain
  • Laughing hysterically on a tour of the Tower of London by Billy the Beefeater

  • Spending a week riding through the Irish Countryside to see Lough Derg, the Burren, Lisdoonvarna (home of the Matchmaking Festival) and the Cliffs of Moher

  • Enjoying the beauty, nudity, surfing and beer of the English Gardens in Munich, Germany
  • Being the “team trainer” for an recreational women’s hockey team in Tachov, Czech Republic
  • Skiing between Italy and Switzerland under the watchful eye of the Matterhorn in Zermatt

Zermatt Ski Day 4 & 5 023

  • Inadvertently enjoying the Pride festivities in Denmark
  • Tasting Brun Cheese in Undredal, in the majestic Sognefjord of Norway
  • Zip-lining through the jungle in Honduras

  • Dancing the night away after crashing a wedding on the small island of Agkistri, Greece
  • Taking an ATV adventure to find the hidden watering holes in Cozumel, Mexico
  • Marveling at the rugged beauty of Corsica after an accidental mid-day hike up to Casteddu D’Araghju

  • Helping the local farmers herd, then sort their sheep (all 15,000 of them) during their annual Réttardagur (Sheep Round Up)
  • And many, many, many travels around Italy, my favorite place to travel to… my SECOND home

Along the way, family and friends have asked me for advice in how to plan their own unforgettable adventures, so this blog is my attempt to do just that. ENJOY!
